We are looking for a Remote Senior Developer / Senior Software Engineer who has a enthusiasm for Software Security, someone who is comfortable working in a people-facing role, someone who promotes and champions or advocates security within technology.

This role as a Senior Software Engineer (DevSecOps) will see you involved in mostly a hands-off role; there is very little or no hands-on coding involved. You will be responsible for architecture and system design, promoting agile ways of working, leading teams of engineers (software developers, DevOps, data engineers alike).

The development teams work on the Microsoft .NET Stack including CI/CD tooling, AWS (or Azure), .NET Core and plenty of API integrations but as mentioned, there will be very little coding involved - as long as the Senior Software Engineer is clued up on technology and software development that's great. Not an issue if you have coded in .NET or Java or any other OO Language in the past.

Senior Software Engineer Skills sought after:

  • An understanding of software development, ideally stemming from a development background
  • Knowledge of an OO programming language, be it C# .NET or Java or any other
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing, Azure or AWS or GCP is fine
  • An advocate of Software Security, ideally financial crime but can be any type of security
  • Any knowledge of CI/CD - it can be Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or any other
  • A People person! Previous responsibility in leading teams of people or championing a process/way of working
  • Experience working within an Agile Team (scrum or kanban or other)

If you are a Senior Software Engineer or Senior Developer / Architect and wish to go ahead and find out more about the role, please apply today.
