Senior PHP Developer


Senior PHP Developer - Manchester - up to £55,000 per annum PHP, Laravel, VueJS, AWS, SOLID principles & TDD/BDD

An experienced Senior PHP Developer is required to join a globally recognised digital agency based in Manchester City Centre. As the PHP specialist you will form part of a cross functional team responsible delivering various greenfield projects, designing and building products from scratch as well as developing on existing software.

In order to be considered for the role you will need to have demonstrable experience in the following skill / technologies: * Extensive experience of programming with the latest versions of PHP (.5x) * Exposure to front end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS * Linux Operating Systems * Highly confident with PHP frameworks - ideally Laravel * Experience of working in a cloud-based environment - ideally Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Ideal skills / experience for the successful Senior PHP Developer: * The ability to successfully build and deliver API focused projects * Confident of working with VueJS and other JavaScript frameworks * Previous experience in adopting TDD & BDD methodologies * Have a keen interest in picking up and learning new technologies

In addition to the above, it is important that the successful candidate is confident in engaging with both technical and non-technical team members as well having previously worked in an Agile environment.
