Senior Front-end Developer - React - £80K

A Senior Front-end Developer with strong experience across JavaScript and React.js is required by a technology company reinventing how cars are bought and sold online, to join their team in London.

They're looking to hire a Senior Front-end Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills to play a key role in helping them develop the technology and tools to power the next step of their journey.

Some of your Senior Front-end Developer - React responsibilities will include:

• Developing front-end technology, launching new features and optimising performance
• Developing customer-facing code and UI with a focus on usability, performance and progressive enhancement
• Working with internal APIs to provide read and write data to our backend services
• Working closely with design and product teams to create work that has excellent UX and production values
• Working in a flat-structured development team, and getting involved in the technical and product strategy of the business
• Championing and implementing software development best practices to ensure code is high quality, well-tested, scalable and secure
• Experimenting with new techniques, tools and frameworks to keep at the cutting edge of modern development

Required and Desired experience for Senior Front-end Developer - React:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6+, React, Redux
• Modern CSS (CSS Grid, LESS/SASS, Styled Components)
• Experience of agile software development practices and working collaboratively in a team environment
• A passion for technology and software, demonstrated by personal projects, blog posts or contributions to open source projects
• A degree or college-level education in computer science, technology, or another web or design-related subject is a plus
