Speakers

Alberto De Bortoli

Principal Software Engineer/ Technical iOS Lead @JUST EAT

Modular iOS Architecture

Modular mobile architectures have been a hot topic over the past 2 years, counting a plethora of articles and conference talks. At Just Eat, we jumped on the modular iOS architecture train more than 3 years ago, before it was mainstream. I will walk you through the challenges we faced (technical and not), the historical company facts that brought us to having a modularized architecture, and give you some tips to start this journey in your apps too.

Donato Antonini

Android Developer @Curve

Unidirectional Data Flow – Async management of UI states

Donato is keen to talk about implementing Uniflow as an alternative version of the MVI pattern. He will show us why the MVI verbosity wasn't fulfilling Curve's need, alongside the pros of achieving the same and leaner result with Unidirectional Data Flow.

Sándor Gyulai

iOS Developer @Tictrac

Continuous Delivery in Tictrac

Sándor will be talking about the Automation Infrastructure they have built within Tictrac. The architecture is tailored to serve the diverse scenarios they have been dealing with. Last but not least, will be an occasion to dig deep into code-signing and how Tictrac overcome the code-signing among different AppStore teams and different roles. We will be exploring tools like Fastlane, CircleCI, Jenkins and Slack.

We always expect high demand for our events, so if interested, please signup ASAP via the Meetup page. For all other queries please email events@oliverbernard.com.

Look forward to seeing some of you there on Thursday 6th February at 18:30.
